Growing Home Co-op is ‘planting seeds’ in Moorestown, NJ
Growing Home Co-op proudly announces the opening of a new Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in Moorestown, New Jersey. Growing Home Co-op is a refugee farming cooperative designed by Cooperative Director Jody Veler and developed with the assistance of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSM/NJ) and its Immigration and Refugee Services Program.
Located at 500 Centerton Road, at the Burlington County Community Agriculture Center, subscriptions to our annual CSA are now available! The CSA offers convenient on-farm pick-up on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Growing Home Co-op will begin on-farm operations in April, 2008 on acreage leased from the Burlington County Community Agriculture Center in Moorestown, New Jersey. The farm will grow a wide variety of traditional open pollinated heirloom vegetables as well as unique varieties of African vegetables favored by our farmers.
