What We Grow
We will grow a variety of vegetables based on seasonal weather conditions. Spring and Fall harvests will consist of hardy crops such as lettuce, beets, turnips, and greens. Summer harvest will produce warm season crops, such as heirloom tomatoes, peppers, beans, cucumbers, and eggplant. In addition, some unique varieties of ethnic crops such as sweet potatoes, greens and eggplant will be introduced. Here is a listing of some of our items. Several different varities of each vegetable will be grown during the season.
Spring
Turnips, Carrots, Beets, Mustard Greens, Broccoli Raab, Radishes, Salad Greens, Green Onions, Cabbage, Bok Choy
Summer
Heirloom and Hybrid Tomato Varieties, Hot and Sweet Peppers, Eggplant, Cucumber, Green and Wax Beans, Summer Squash, Sweet Corn, Watermelons, Cantaloupes, Potatoes, Sunflowers, Zinnias, Swis Chard
Fall
Collard Greens, Lettuce, Sweet Potato, Beets, Turnips, Kale, Chard, Carrots, Winter Squash
